Cadaveric training laboratories
NEUROLAB has two fully equipped cadaveric training laboratories, each with 10 surgical stations, designed for advanced anatomical and surgical training. The laboratories offer:
Hands-on anatomy courses
in the head and neck specialties — neurosurgery, maxillofacial surgery, ENT, plastic surgery, dermatologic surgery, ophthalmology and dentistry.
High-specification surgical equipment
stations equipped with instruments from leading manufacturers such as AESCULAP, SOERING, MEDTRONIC and KLS MARTIN.
Advanced preservation techniques
soft-preservation methods (e.g. Thiel) for realistic tissue handling in skull base and microsurgical procedures.
Medical education
Our centre offers international-standard surgical training through:
Specialised courses & workshops
Workshops on cranial procedures, the skull base and complex head and neck procedures.
A hybrid learning environment
Integrated audiovisual systems for live streaming between floors and to external platforms, enabling participation from anywhere.
Accredited programmes
Events are held under the auspices of leading scientific bodies.
Microsurgical training
with ZEISS and LEICA surgical training microscopes and UPSURGEON simulation models.
Technical and organisational support
Event organisation
in cooperation with a PCO, we provide full logistical and organisational support for educational events.
Safety & reliability
UPS, voltage stabilisers and a power generator ensure uninterrupted training.
Streaming and recording
high-definition image capture and streaming for distance learning and archiving.
